6th grade project
The sixth grade students did a wonderful job designing their paint sticks for the clock. Each student painted two paint sticks, and then they were glued to the back of a clock. It looks amazing 6th graders.
We will be placing a small plaque under the clock to honor our 6th grade class of 2016.

6th graders tour Zora Ellis
6th graders had an opportunity to tour Zora Ellis this week. They viewed the gym and met their upcoming P.E. teachers, Mrs. Keith and Mr. Sewell.
They met Science teacher, Ms. Runyan, and had fun playing with green slime.
Mr. Lipscomb tells them all about the fun things they will do in career tech. The students were given a ZEMS decal.
The students had an opportunity to see a rocket launch.
They met with the guidance teacher, Ms. Clemons, and participated in a scavenger hunt.
Congratulations to Emily and Maeson for correctly completing their scavenger hunt. They had an opportunity to choose a prize and both of the girls chose a Zora Ellis bag.
It was fun watching 6th graders try to open lockers for the first time.
Many of the students had to do it multiple times before getting their locker to open.
The students were able to see what their P.E. uniforms will look like next year. They will cost $15.00.
