Sixth Grade Field Trip

We would like to thank all of our wonderful parents and chaperones that joined us on our field trip to ride the Amtrak train and the tour the McWane Science Center. This was such an amazing experience. Most of us had never been on a train before.

We are very excited be recreating the "Polar Express" experience by boarding an Amtrak Train and riding the train to Birmingham, Al., then off to the "Winter Wonderland" exhibit at the McWane Center.

A special THANKS to Mrs. Porter and Mr. Thomas for judging the character pumpkins. We know it was hard to judge the pumpkins because ALL of the students were creative and did an AWESOME job. We hope to make this an annual event.

The wait is over...

The students have been waiting patiently to find out the results of the ACT Aspire test that was given in May. Mrs. Thomas recently explained and went over the scores with all of the students in grades 4-6. Thanks, Mrs. Thomas!! Monday, November 3rd, the students will be recognized in a medal ceremony beginning at 12:30. We hope to see you there.
