Teachers and students from AIDB came to Young to do a presentation on White Cane Awareness. They taught them about the importance of the white cane, what it represents, how to lead a blind person, etc. They also allowed the students to be lead around and pretend they couldn't see anything. The students gained a better appreciation of having sight and realized the challenges that the blind encounter.
